Authentic Indian Tabla Set:
This authentic set of Indian Tabla drums are hand made and in excellent condition. The smaller drum [dayan] is used for creating treble and tonal sounds, and the larger drum [baya] is for producing bass. They were constructed from sturdy hardwood (dayan) and metal (baya) with tanned hide heads and ropes. The dowels and hoops are used to tighten the tension of the membranes for tuning the drums. This set also includes knit cloth playing stands and tigerskin pattern drumhead covers to protect the playing surfaces when not in use.
